$7.95
โI often wonder just how I managed to survive the loss of my Mark to suicide โ the pain almost crippled me in so many ways. I have always been a believer that everything happens for a reasonโฆ but THISโฆ Suicideโฆ there was no rhyme and no reason it seemed. Suicide always leaves you with so many WHYโSโฆ which led me on a journey to find out WHYโฆ bringing more pain at each discovery.โ
In 1998, Tanya French was a busy and happy wife and mother of three, doing just what every other mother does โ to do her utmost to give her family the best life they could possibly have โ whilst simultaneously managing a highly successful international company with her husband, Mark.
Then, her world and that of her family changed dramatically when Mark suddenly and tragically took his own life, sending her family, friends, and a whole town into total shock. This man โ this outgoing, vivacious, talented, funny, life of the party โ had ended his own life, prompting Tanya to set out on a journey to understand why he would choose to end his life so tragically and so violently and why he would leave those that loved him so much.

From Tanya:
To lose someone you love is a tragedy, but to lose someone to suicideย is extremely difficult to cope with. I lost my husband to suicide inย 1998. He was 38.ย Apart from the normal grieving process that comes with death, deathย by suicide has many more layers of grief that must be dealt with;ย unless you have experienced that loss, it is impossible for any oneย person to totally understand the myriad of feelings and emotions onย top of normal grieving.
My writing commenced 15 years ago and was just notes initially. Itย then developed to tapping away on the computer and then to formattingย my writings and finally to this book.ย My story is real and raw. I hope you can feel the pain that my familyย and I suffered as this is what I want readers to know โ the struggleย for those left behind after someoneโs suicide. I want you to see howย someone else can and did get through it.ย It is also important for me to reach out to those that may be contemplatingย suicide, so they can feel the pain that it will cause if theyย choose that roadโฆ suicide is not the answerโฆ it is the problem.
